TAS 2008 was really kick ass! Although it has steadily getting smaller and smaller over the years, the cars never cease to amaze me. We were in before the crowd was allowed to go in so getting good shots without tons of people in the background was easy. Lasting impressions were the Amemiya full carbon body FD. Man that is one car I would love to own. Like many, in the beginning I was on the fence about Rotary engines. Then Pat got a SA back when we graduated high school. After that Ive always wanted one of my own.Back to the impressions.. Lots of guys taking pictures of the girls.. What about the cars!? I have been hearing a lot at business meetings with reps and company owners that there are too many “Otaku” (kinda goofy guys who love manga and anime) at the auto salon and not enough car fans. Who would have figured, huh? The hot chick wins out 9 times out of 10 with most guys. Not with me, I need my damn race car, after all, with out it I cant get the girl, right?!
